I’ve looked at these before and heard good things about them, but their model numbering system throws me off a bit.
What would be the equivalent model be to say a Galvan Torque 6 size wise for saltwater use on a 6 wt rod?

go by the lower number....or close to it (the Originals are a little different, lmk if that's what you're after as I have 3 different sizes of that).
My F3W 7/10 is a fantastic 8wt reel (that's the one @mcswny got), but may not handle enough backing for most 9wt fish (unless it's largemouth or muskies and the like...
My L5W 8Twelve is a fantastic 10wt reel, but it'll still hold ~400yds of PP 50lb with a 400gr shooting head style fly line.
My H5D 11Fourteen is a perfect 12+ wt reel. I have it rigged with 400yds of 50lb PP plus a 750gr Leviathan for tuna.....now. But I believe that the H5D 9Thirteen uses the same spool as the L5W 8Twelve. I'd check the specs first though.
I dunno, I sound like a total homer, but I AM a total homer for these reels....I should start charging them for kick-backs....
