Drove up to Bennington Saturday morning but it was just nasty green pea soup. Went home, fielded the "What they hell are you doing back already" question, put the float tube away, and headed East. These lakes are so pretty.
And the little fish were pretty as well
That was fun, but after a while it got boring.
Tied on a copper john and a hares ear and went looking for whitefish in the river.
Found some colorful trout
And some not so colorful ones
but no whitefish today in this little stream
With the cool temps today I had an @clarkman encounter and wasn't too scared to get close.
Turned out to be a good day, even if I didn't do what I set out to.
