Life of the Party
Some what fly fishing related, I'm getting into duck hunting and I have an easy rider heron canoe.
I live that the thing is so lightweight but it is so tippy. I am also considering using my larger boat and strapping the canoe to the front before paddling into shore. That makes me feel even more concerned while transferring from my craft to the canoe.
One of my thoughts was to try and outrigger as that would be much more stable and if the weather did turn, make me feel much safer.
So has anyone had any experience with those outriggers out there? I saw some cheap inflatable ones for like 80 bucks on Amazon or is a more expensive option recommend?
Also would love to hear anybody's hints or tips about transporting a canoe on another boat. I'm totally new at this.
Thanks!
