J Bobbins?

I picked up 3 “J Bobbins” today at a garage sale. I’m sure they are quality, with the reputation of J Vise.
Has any forum members tried them out? It appears you can still order them, and the price is under $40. I’m thinking that’s a great price for a specialty product like this.

Those look pretty cool (and highly engineered, maybe overly so?) but spelling nerd Matt B can’t help but be suspicious of a business that names itself after a consistent misspelling.
