It's similar to how anti-government types recommend proceeding if you find an endangered species on your land: shoot, shovel, and shut up.

There are definitely cultural differences that make some places better or worse regardless of any other circumstances...both good and bad. I'm now living in a place that is FAR different (culturally) from where I came from and it's quite obvious. Some of it is good and some of it is not, but it's different for sure. Being exposed to LOTS of kids on a regular basis really makes it jump off the page at you.

Vote the left out of office. Stop electing people who are soft on crime and worry more about "equity" (and ask them to even define that!) and the rights of criminals than the law abiding citizens who are the victims.
