I'll Start - Why I Love Small Streams

I didn’t "get it" at first but when I saw the middle of the image (sort of) sharp, and progressively less sharp outwards, it grows on me.

Looks like a "dreamscape".
Yeah, when done with Cities it creates a really weird almost fake/model look.

It was fun to mess around with the effect. Can't remember which app it was anymore. I'll have to look around for it.

Small streams—my first fly fishing love. I never get tired of exploring around the next bend or above the next cascade. At the same time, it’s a pleasure to re-visit old friends. Sometimes, that even applies to the denizens of particular pools—a phenomenon which to me, highlights the fragile and special nature of such a place.
Plus, dry flies!

love small streams. i don't do it enough, but i loved some of the small streams back in NC with my bro.

I wind about, and in and out,
With here a blossom sailing,
And here and there a lusty trout,
And here and there a grayling,

And here and there a foamy flake
Upon me, as I travel
With many a silvery waterbreak
Above the golden gravel,

And draw them all along, and flow
To join the brimming river,
For men may come and men may go,
But I go on for ever.

I have to quit looking at these pictures. I'm drooling. I just wish I had good knees so I could wander up and down some of these places. But my living in Montana now, I know where the fish live and have that place dialed in.

Jim, if I get to MT to fish this year, and I hope that I do, I’ll help you down the bank of some small streams. Or, I’ll bring a boat and row you!

OMJ, I'd be very pleased if you enjoyed coming along with me to my "Curtis Creeks" through my photos.
