Well, because idiots can set the market.

Now, I'm not talking about nippers. If some folks want to pay $25, $50, $75, $ 100 etc for nipper thats fine. Us normal people will just ignore it.

Problem is those same people set the market on new rods too. If normal people would pay $700 for a new rod and these people would just randomly throw down $1250, guess where the market is set?

Not sure why I'm commenting on this. I believe rod design maxed out a long time ago and its all just marketing for the last 15 years.
