if a guy can build this in his shop, why wouldn't boat builders come with something similar...a lightweight two piece 8' or 10' pram would likely have a significant market.

There are several plans for nesting dingy s available and i seem to remember one commercial build awhile ago. It’s a niche market, not much revenue to build commercially.

This is a legitimate option for a nesting take-apart lake dinghy. The company has been in business for a long time and has a good reputation. I’ve seen some of these finished home built kit boats and they’re nice looking and practical if space and transport is an issue.
