Good day at the lake.

I fished a mountain lake with @Bruce Baker today-


The lake almost has a magical feel to it-


In order to make the hike in easer, I prepared the night before by trying to minimize my gear. I went through the way to many fly boxes I have. By the end of the night I ended up with what I thought would work in one small fly box. I don’t like the feeling of only having one box-


We caught lots of nice fish-





A few nice trees were also caught-

The water clarity was amazing. Was pretty cool to see fish below the surface as I made my way around.

Hurrah for Wilderness Lite float tubes! Not sure how I'd do my high lakes fishing without one.

What I joy it was to hike in and out with the Wilderness Lite Dave. And thanks for the suggestion on getting an external frame backpack and for the tip on strapping it to the frame.
