@Tim Lockhart: Shoegoo-less and new............. look pretty easy on...... ;-)Something like this
I’m glad I bought the korkers redesigned removable soles. I actually thought the studded would be best but clearly I was wrong. Felt will be what I wear. I wear an 8.5 wide shoe and bought the 9. I hope I have the room for the waders.I've been wearing high topped NRS booties of various models for years....work great...but nothing beats felt soled boots on slimy rocks for traction. Can't imagine wearing clogs in such conditions (such as the Spokane River) would end well.
I had to look those up. The rocks don’t hurt the feet?Tabis are the best for wet wading
For rivers around here, those would be hard on the feet.I had to look those up. The rocks don’t hurt the feet?
I normally wear a 10, but my boots have to be a 13 when I wear my SIMMS waders. Fat wool socks contribute to the need, but it's well worth it, since tightly compressed feet get uncomfortably cold quickly.I’m glad I bought the korkers redesigned removable soles.
