Nah, high water made it tough to swing. Articulated flesh on a 12' leader under a bobber from the boat.I’m assuming you went with your go to bead/flesh fly streamer?…
An old, un-released version of the Simms G3 with shin/knee pads. What do you have on your lower leg? Body armor?
Yeah, the goofy pic of me and my fishin' partner's epic double was a little blurry, so I didn't go with that one originally. Still pretty funny tho, so...I always enjoy seeing an excited and happy angler.![]()

Company trip? One of these years I need to do that.
Integrated wader knee pads are clutch, even for just normal conditions. I catch so many hogs, I'm always kneeling down on gravel and cobble to unhook and release them, and a little padding is oh so nice. My current Patty waders have them, but those ballistic looking unreleased Simms ones look really functional (if a bit aggro/body armor-ish).Is the wading that tough there or a preexisting condition?
There was no gravel showing anywhere in the river - if the water is 18" deep right off the grass, the swing nerds are standing on/in the fish. Turns it into a hangdown game, and that's kinda silly. Is the wading that tough there or a preexisting condition?
