What’s it weigh? Lots of people like swivels on their chironomid rigs because they provide extra weight to get the flies to depth quickly, less so because their leaders get twisty.

Three of us portaged into a BC lake that the year before had fished really well. This time it seemed fishless - Herb finally landed a fish and throat pumped it. Glass worms. The Canadian who’d originally shared this lake with us had a saying “if the fish are on glass, go home”. Maybe you’ve found a better worm pattern than the ones in my box

Hmmm ... maybe you could hang a chain of them to create the illusion of a hatch along with a meat fly.
