Epic Permit Week

After 3 years on a waiting list for a coveted April spot at Playa Blanca, I went 8 for 11 last week (1 break off, 1 cut by a rock or shark, and one just straight up fell off). A more typical week of permit fishing for me is 2 or 3, so this was pretty spectacular.

Having caught only one permit (12 -14lb) I was amazed with their speed, throw in bulk, man, what fish!
