There's no way they are getting another dime from me. I can't think of another company that's got a business model of taking customer money for "in stock" products, then not delivering for months, and then having the product fail immediately, then refusing to respond to calls/emails requesting refund. At least I was able to get my money back thanks to my CC company.

That’s unfortunate things sucked for you all. I’ve had 5+ orders with No. Fork and nary a problem. One item was back ordered but it showed up. I’ve sold a lot of rods on their blanks and have received no negative input. So, I’m a fan..
Lucky you I guess. I know I'm definitely not alone in my disdain for the company and the way it's run.
By comparison, the folks at Utmost in Sequim have been amazingly helpful and professional and will continue to get my money.
I did recently get two tubes for two rods I bought over 2 years ago. Still waiting on the rod socks, however.
rods are great (all of the ones I've purchased), however. plus, I have a couple of their iconoglass blanks that have been built up....love 'em. But yeah, customer service isn't exactly the company's strong suit....that said, I went into every interaction with them eyes wide open.
It should be noted that everything I've ordered from NFC arrived far quicker than Edge.

I received my Warhorse 15 weight fly rod today. I jumped on the first Golden Ticket deal and ordered it up. The thing seems pretty badass. Marlin of Mag Bay this Fall better watch the hell out. Muahahahaha!!!!
That said, it arrived without a “permanent tube” (just a cardboard shipping tube), well wrapped in bubble wrap and with no rod sock. I would like a rod sock for travel, even more than a tube I think.
I got a little nervous when they kept offering more and more chances for the Golden Ticket deal, but I got my rod for $200 before my trip, so I think I’m good with it? That seems like a killer price for what seems like a killer piece of kit, albeit highly specialized and not something I anticipate using as often as I’d probably like to. I’ll reach out about a sock and a tube.

You might need a bit of time to fit in a few gym sessions. A 9’ 15 weight has a lot of leverage!
The only time I have ever cast a 15 weight, it was an 8 footer, and it still was a lot of work. The old guy who owned it didn’t have the strength any more, so I worked with him for a bit on two handed casts with the beast. We never actually talked about what he would do when he actually hooked the big tarpon he was after with it…
I don’t think that a whole lot of thought had gone into his choice of gear. Or into the decision to try to catch a big tarpon as an 80+ year old man who could only cast about 60’.
