Well it's been pushing 70 until yesterday it was 65. I like it when it gets down in to the 50s as that seems to be when I get most my coho to cooperate.Never heard this about water temp. What temp would you look for?

Yeah I'm kind of shocked at how many are in my neighborhood already. Never seen even a fraction of this many in these spots until the last week of September.Skagit has been in the upper 50s for the last couple weeks. When I can find them, they bite. Just not having a lot of luck finding them in any numbers yet. The hatchery has only got four fish back so far.
Lots of fish up by concrete, cant retain there yet but they were kind enough to not bite for me so they will still be there the 16th.Skagit has been in the upper 50s for the last couple weeks. I need a Star Trek transporter so I can go back and forth between the Sandy and the Deschutes. How much are they ?Well I watched several hundred shoot up the mouth yesterday after the rain stopped. So, I wouldn't wait that long if I were you.

I do a lot of that this time of year. At low water, I'm finding that when and where they will bite spinners, they will also bite stripped flies quite well. I came across a pod of fresh dummies the other day. After I caught a couple on a homemade Wicked Lure, I decided to try them with a purple bugger, and well, it worked. Really, really well. Love these early fish, even if it's hard to find them in places where I can harvest them so far.Dirtbaggin' with spinners
