So I keep an occasional eye on the used market. There are certain rods commanding ridiculous prices these days….

I think you're onto something. I listed the rod at what I thought was a fair price - one forum member made an offer that I declined. I guess he should have offered more than my asking price. (This was all before Sage reneged on the rod's lifetime warranty.) Maybe I should list it on Fleabahy for tripple my last asking price and bs prospective buyers with how the rod tube's scratches are vintage patina.
