Snoop Dogg's Uncle had a wonderful Louisiana style BBQ restaurant, but Uncle Reo passed last year. Some relative is carrying on the tradition of BBQ. I have to stop eating red meats, don't do alcohol. Sorry for the interruption, carry on!
Washington St. hires SDSU's Jimmy Rogers to 5-year deal to coach team

Happy to see WSU hire a younger coach. It looks like he will be bringing SDSU players with him. Eckhaus, a very talented QB, has one more year of eligibility. Hope he stays. Could be a very interesting season next year for WSU.

Eckhaus started the Holiday Bowl for the Cougs on Friday where he went 31/43 for 363 yards. He threw three touchdowns and two interceptions.

I was hoping Eckhaus would stay. The Cougars showed a tremendous amount of heart in the bowl game. It helped identify where the weaknesses were - D-line. If the new coach brings some of his players, added to the core of the Cougs, and with Eckhaus, the team could of done well in a weaker division. Shines the light on them including Eckhaus. Being the best in a division never hurts. Look at how well Ashton Jeanty was viewed - Heisman runner-up.

My youngest son is one of the 500+ players who is in the portal...college football is a train wreck right now.
It sounds like college head coaching has become a financially high-risk profession with job security now being one of the least concerns.
Will NIL implode college sports?

Somewhere that plays a system he knows and is also a contender in their conference. He would go to a place that hasn’t won if they have a new staff with a history of winning.
He never wanted to be in the portal. He loved where he was! He got injured during spring ball (junior year), tried to rehab, ended up having surgery, staff turned over and they revoked his scholarship the day after surgery.
I know there is a negative perception of today’s collegiate athletes…there are some who have earned that label. There are also lots of athletes that are treated poorly. Unfortunately college football and basketball are businesses now and the employees (athletes) are disposable.
