I miss Madden…both as a coach and in the booth…Really not sure what the beef is, yuse guys seem to spend more time complaining, refs/umps, announcers, commercials - I must be the odd guy out, I just enjoy the games. If the announcer/analyst gets on my nerves (can you hear me Rex, the Wonder Dog, Hudler), I just tune them out
... (and I grew up listening to one of the all-time great play-by-play announcers, the scintillating Danny Gallivan, and his colour guy, a guy I caddied for quite regularly, Dick Irvin Jr).
Re. Aikman, I actually like him - great knowledge of the game, knows how to be critical - verbal diarrhea, sure, they all do, but that's what they are told and paid to do (can't have dead air).
