College Football 2024

I see the Ducks are heavily favored for Saturdays game against the evil empire of the North. They certainly have the motivation and a desire for some big payback. GO DUCKS !!!!

Not sure the dawgs will be interested in small ducks after eating turkey thursday.

I expect U of O to put on a show and think they beat the dawgs by 4 scores or more !!!!

His closing speed was impressive. A true 5.5 40 vs a 7.9 40 time? The ability to feather off all those potential decoy blockers and nail the thief was semi impressive.

Looking for the upset of the week (hoping for ; ; ;) with Texas A&M over Texas. A&M has had an up and down season losing a close game to the Irish, beating top ranked Missouri and LSU and than losing to two unranked teams. If Penn State can make it past Maryland and Texas loses that could seal a great spot in the playoffs. Can't see Michigan with a prayer over Ohio State.

If the big 10 Championship is a rematch between Ohio State and the Ducks I don't see the Bucks losing twice.

Several of these teams are just paying their players in burgers. Hitting jack in the box getting A COUPLE BURGERS to pay the players!

Tragic to see the Alabama player died from a head injury suffered during his last game.
Can't be a clearer reason why college student athletes must be paid when putting their health and lives on the line for their schools.

I didn't expect the Beavs to win. I just don't know how they get entice any good players for next year. ....😵‍💫

I think the Dawg's are gonna have a rough afternoon at Autzen too, but hoping for a competitive game at least. Go Huskies.

Go Coogs...

I was invited once to go to Seattle to watch the Ducks play the Dawgs by a friend (dawg fan) whose job entitled him to what was supposed to be a television sponsored breakfast. He lied. I showed up at the breakfast wearing my usual green at what turned out to be a UW alumni breakfast and was the only Duck there. Jim Lambright was the coach and the main speaker at the breakfast and announced that the Dawgs were 17 point favorites and would cover the spread. I took a lot of good natured guff from Dawg fans and felt lucky I was with alumni and not students. I was also the only Duck in the section where we sat. But we had a qb named Akili Smith and damned if we didn't win the game. So when I see my beloved Ducks favored by 19 plus I know that the Dawgs will make this a competitive game. At least for a half. When I told my wife that I had been invited she said if the Ducks win you be nice to your friend. I said I would. I lied. It was a long ride home for him.

Ducks on at 4:30pm Pacific time on NBC against Washington...

That would be 7:30 Eastern time, that means it won't end (at least time-wise) until after 10:00, I will likely be asleep - have I mentioned I hate Eastern time!!!!

... Seems neither team really wants to win this game - comedy of errors

Ryan Day wants to win...
🤣

3 straight losses
