College Football 2023

It may very well be down to the Pac 2. Washington State and Oregon State.

The Beavs built an expensive new stadium that is supposed to pay for itself but with no idea, after the current season, who they will be playing, they may need to lean on the tax payers in Oregon to help pay for the facility. Neat. Great timing. I really get no benefit if my taxes help pay for a football stadium at a university I didn't even attend.

What a massive mess...

Speaking of stupid stuff in college football, Northwestern is really outdoing itself. With a 4-20 record the past two seasons, a hazing scandal, fired coach, and multiple lawsuits filed, it's a pretty impressive run for the Big Ten "power".

"Cats against the world"? I dunno, it's your own former players who are suing you, friends. That's not "the world". "Cats against stupider cats" wold be more accurate.

It is being reported that, per Pac-12 bylaws, teams that left the conference will not be entitled to their share of revenues in 2024. The amount is estimated to be $400M. So as it stands right now WSU, OSU, Cal and Stanford would split the revenue 4-ways at $100M ea. Even funnier is they will not receive their share of revenues generated by March Madness. I will never root harder for UCLA, Arizona and the like in the tourney!

You don't get to leave AND dictate terms.

PAC 4 should get BYU, Notre Dame, Army & Navy, Hawaii & San Diego State (then I woke up from a dream…)

There’s a reason Petersen never took the usc job. Cohen will find out soon enough. 2-3 years max.

Make it the big time where you’re at. And believe me if at UW you can make it the big time. UW and Oregon moving to Bug ten will be a big failure. The PAC -12 needed to stand together and flip the bird to others. … school presidents should adhere to advice of those in the know. But they didn’t. They wanted more, here is the one question. Is college sports about college spirit and their student fan base or not. Because this direction is going to fail after a few years. You wanted a semi pro league. … welcome to it … that’s what it is now. Good Lick.

Another irony is that this year there are 5 teams ranked in the top 25 and a field of very good quarterbacks, three of whom can contend for the Heisman. Every team will want to be the last Pac 12 champion. It's a damn shame. The toughest games for any team will those against other conference members.. A great season is on the horizon. Should be exciting. And I'm all Ducked up on Quack. Go Ducks!

Go Navy!
SF

and....

Go Bison !!!!

Navy is going to need more than 0 passing yards in the second half...
