Clouds

When you see these, I'm pretty sure trouble is brewing.

Was gonna add these to the cell phone pics thread, but they kind of fit in here, too. These were shot east bound on I 90 starting outside of Sundance, SD.
I think they're prismatic clouds ? Watched them for over 5 hours while lightning hit everything further off in the distance. That rainbow effect stayed there the entire time.

That’s cool. Did you position the sun behind it or is that refraction within the cloud?
Makes me think of this (which was scary AF to young Matt B when Raiders came out).

Sun is behind it, I was watching it for a while and for my camera there's no way you wouldn't get lots of lens flares until the sun was behind it. When it finally did I had almost forgotten about it which meant a brief run to grab camera.
