You made up for all the cloud pix I haven't taken. I use a DSLR so much that I forget my phone also has a camera. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, I just can't pass up dramatic cloud pics. All cell phone shots. Thinking after I retire I'll get a nice camera. But for now, this is something I enjoy while out and about - always have that phone ready for a quick snap.

Last Saturday, SPC issued a marginal risk for waterspouts and brief tornadoes along the Oregon Coast. We made a couple of trips to the beach to watch some cells make landfall but never did see anything that resembled a rotating storm. Fun weather though with lots of thunder and lightning.

It was fun watching this come across the bay with the wind. Link of reminded me of a jellyfish with thin tentacles. No mind altering drug were involved in my experience with this cloud.
