Chuck Norris passed away at 86

It was said the Chuck Norris was once bitten by a King Cobra. Chuck said, "That's true. And after five days of agonizing pain, the Cobra died."

Okay this confirms immortality is a great idea and that is about it. We have other people in our lives that carried us with them as long as they live or at least we have the option of believing so.

Are chuck Norris jokes appropriate on this thread? I think they are!

In the Beginning, there was nothing. Then Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked nothing and told it to get a job.( a documented story about Walker, Texas Ranger)

There was a man whose tears could cure cancer or any other disease, including the real cause of all diseases – sin. His blood did. His name was Jesus, not Chuck Norris. If your soul needs healing, the prescription you need is not Chuck Norris' tears, it's Jesus' blood.”~ Chuck Norris (1940-2026)
Chuck had such a great sense of humor!

He did his thing. "Point sparring". Using Tang Soo Do ( similar to Tai Kwon Do) in "karate" competitions. He never actually did full contact kickboxing. He did make a movie with Bill Wallace AKA Superfoot Wallace. Wallace was an actual full contact "kickboxer".
Mr. Norris wanted to use martial arts as a way of promoting physical fitness and self esteem in our public schools...he quickly found out that most of our public "Physical Education" teachers were physically incapable of demonstrating even the rudimentary aspects of martial arts training.
I checked out one of his books from the library in the early 1990's.. His strategies of using footwork combined with feints were very effective for his students in "point sparring". I found this information useful.

Enjoyed watching Chuck and Bruce Lee go at it, the yin and yang of combat styles.
Lee's book on 'the styleless style' was thoroughly digested during a decade of study.

"A Force of One" is the tittle of the movie. A quick google search leads to a very iconic "fight scene". Bill Wallace is the villain in the movie but his skill in kicking is absolutely amazing. Superfoot had a knee injury, and that lead him to develop an ability to kick like no other human. Bill Wallace actually got into the ring in full contact kickboxing matches. Chuck was smart enough to never have done that. But Supper Foot Wallace...That man could kick.

Bill also had a sneaky spinning backfist that was lights out if it connected.
