i learned to sew on my grandmothers machine like this when i was in grade school. My sister now has the machine with the same cabinet as this. on my last visit to my sisters, i realized that i no longer knew how to thread the machine any more.

I learned to sew on my Ex, 840 Bernina when in college. Later as a museum exhibit designer sew machines opened up problem solving solutions to my reinventing the wheel to stay on budget. I was paid to diy often

I pulled this cruiser out of Kimball Creek many years ago. She finally got to cruise the beach. My first time doing that, too. It was really fun!

That old cruiser has had a fairly interesting second life after I rescued her.

Fortress? Asylum? It's certainly one of the most interesting rock walls I've ever seen. There are quite a few beautiful rock walls (retaining in many cases) on this hill in Takamine (Nagoya, Japan).

I was going to throw in Japanese geriatric… I was in japan for only a couple days in 1991… in Kyoto .. stayed st the Kyoto grand Hotel on way out of the country from a very contrasting experience in Khabarovsk USSR. Have lots of pics but long before I even new what a cell phone was.

Interesting to me the colors of these Praying Mantis. I always thought they adjusted their colors to surroundings like a chameleon, but these were all in the desert with nothing bright green for miles. Rattlesnake Mountain.

They change color at molting and is a very gradual process using camouflage to hide and blend into their surroundings to be successful in hunting what is on the menu.. I first got pods in 1978. Bought pods from a small garden store in boondockville Orchards area of Clark County Wa. Tied them to our communal cornstocks in the field and did not seethem until early fall . Tried again herein downtown Vancouver and hatch and gone never saw any. Birds got a big treat I am sure!
