Love this photo. While color, it still evokes the same feeling of my all-time favorite photographer, Josef Sudek's Magic Garden series.
last time we were there, we were hiking north on the skyline? trail from the parking lot at the top of going to the sun road. met a fellow that hiked up from Many Glacier lodge, and when he got to the road/parking lot, he could take the bus back to many glacier. thought that would be a great hike, and good use of the bus system.
Great destination, Polebridge! Are you going to meet her there? I would hike to Polebridge just to go to the mercantile! She can catch up on calories there at the bakery!!
My daughter booked it to Polebridge and got off the trail just in time to wait out the storm for two days…temps dropped into the low 30’s and dumped a foot of wet snow. She got back on the trail this morning…next stop is Eureka

Found this stream while driving to locate new areas to fish and camp. Talked to a guy fly fishing, noon hour was just several small cutthroat and a brown trout. Taking the trailer up this week and spend 4 days.
