He had the greatest melt down ever on there re a mishandled fish shot but was a super guy to fish with on Dragon Lake and really, just a good spud.

One funny observation is how different an admin/moderator's list would look vs many of the ones posted here, both "missing them" and "not missing them." And before you draw conclusions, it's not necessarily the ones you expect.

While he really didn't post much, Tinker was such a positive person with a big heart and a huge amount of personal accomplishments he never spoke about.. That despite fighting a rapacious form of cancer.

I wish all the folks mentioned in this thread would/could still post with us. Some were really entertaining, some I learned a lot from and some I lived vicariously through via trip reports to places I don’t get to fish enough. Thanks to all of you that still post and share here today. Great community but small in the world of social media so it’s great we still have such great contributors. I’m in my forties and don’t participate in any social media besides this site and a really neglected LinkedIn account, so I appreciate the time folks spend here talking fishing. It saves me from really annoying my non fishing friends, family and coworkers with stories and pics they couldn’t care less about .
