Took down mom's bird feeder and her bag of birdseed! I've told her not to store it out there, but she didn't listen. No pictures, I was sound asleep!

Our neighbor texted and they must have seen it in their backyard! Oh well, the bears were here on Novelty Hill long before these houses were built!

I've seen a big assed bear crossing one of the main streets before and head into the wetlands area. I'm surprised I haven't heard of anyone losing a pet up here!

Lots of raccoons and other wild critters! Kind of cool! But you still have to be bear aware in the community up here and probably much of Redmond! Where Yogi? Next time I'll leave a picnic basket out for him and Boobo!!

Cheers!

Bears don’t eat a whole lot of pets.
Coyotes and mountain lions—different story perhaps.

a friend of mine that lives east of cottage lake near woodinville had a bear get into her chicken coop last week and killed 4 of her hens. It was amazing how much damage theat the bear did to get past the fence and to the coop. The next morning the bear came back for seconds and she was able to scare it away by yelling from her second story deck. WDFW response was nil and they are going to install an electric fence.
