While watching Julio last night it became quite obvious that he was listening when the man said "Play Ball." The kid does have fun.

I got 4 words about them Mariners: J P Craw ford... Got his jersey for Christmas so I'm right in there. Always has good at bats with deep counts, and he plays his position as well as anyone. Unbelievable how quick he gets up out of the dirt and gets the ball out.

... Yeah, but what about those amazing young Royals... OK, THAT amazing young Royal:

Bobby Witt Jr. became the first player in major league baseball history (yes, you read that correctly, in MLB history) to hit 20 HR and steal 30 bases in each of his first 2 years. His jersey now sits in Cooperstown next to his dad's bat, pretty cool!! He's also leading all of the Major leagues in outs above average. I think he is 6th in the AL in hits. He leads the team in runs (61), home runs (21), RBIs (71), and stolen bases (34). All this on a team that is streaking along at a 0.322 clip. The kid is freaking amazing.

You Seattle fans will get to see him this coming week. Should he fun watching him and Julio go at it.
