Bamboo Fling 2026?

And I defaulted to going for a walk with my wife before heading to NY tomorrow. Beautiful day today!

Mike,
Thanks once again for coordinating this event and thank you for extending the invitation.
It was wonderful meeting all who attended and who brought along some very impressive fly rods.
Holding a Winston Phoenix up close and personal was a notable first.
I'll keep you posted on my Paiute and other cutthroat adventures.
Later,
Steve

I haven’t been able to attend the last two years and have really missed it.

Any of you that have the slightest interest in bamboo and for that matter old vintage gear including reels really owes it to themselves to go to one of these events. It’s a casual atmosphere with a bunch of really nice people and it’s a great way to learn.

Definitely missed you Greg!

I have had to miss the last two flings, illness last year and a family trip this year. What do you guys think about getting together and fish with our bamboo rods. I fished Lake Devereaux in Mason County today with a couple of my bamboo rods. Just caught a few stockers trolling a Cravens Haymaker. Water was in the mid 60s, so it was a little slow. Most of us live on the Seattle side and know more about what is available than I do. How would the Snoqualmie river sound?
