ROSEY , left, is now 13.. ancient for a Basset... one of the most loving dogs I've ever met.

Heloise, aka Weezy, 9 , on the right...a bit neurotic, she was a puppy mill mom in California. We're her 4th and permanent house. Thank my 8 yro for surrounding her with stuffed animals..

We had a pet pig once. His name was midget. The neighbor was going to kill him at birth for being a runt. My mother bottle fed him every three hours. He followed us around everywhere. Thought he was a dog. Best sausage ever.

Poodle or water spaniel. I have a hard time distinguishing between the two when the get clipped.

I would take Hank on a canned hunt a couple times every year as a reward for him. Best Pheasant hunting partner ever! 2nd season that he hunted. Lousy out of focus 2nd photo, but he was 9 months old (1st season), pointed this big old wild rooster in a stand of swampy cattails. The bird was a mouthful for that exuberant pup; he couldn't even get it in his mouth. Hank always gave 200% effort!
