Louie was our kids first baby and grew up at our house when they lived with us to save for their own. He always raced the boys to the door for some love when I got to their house. He fell asleep last night.

Sugar booger out on the left is our old lady, we have had for about 4 years now. On the right is Wren that's my girl, we've had her 8 years now. In the center is our newest addition to the gang, Schmidt. He's a good boy, very smart. His breed is Poo-shi, Poodle-Shiba Inu.

Thanks for the support. Took Louie out to the vets, went to get ice cream with the kids, then since it was Wednesday family day we just hung out all afternoon.
Emma's doing better with weekly subcutaneous IV's. Mom was always a cat person, but she said she really enjoys Emma comming and laying down in her room to keep her company when I'm gone.
It's tough to loose one, but all the years of Unconditional Love and Companionship are so worth it!

Rigby has learned a good enough recall to be off leash in the backyard (and probably in the woods). He's happy about that.

Back yard recall is totally different from in the woods.
If he catches a scent and decides to follow it, you will be left wondering.
Been there before. I’ve whistle trained mine so I don’t have to yell cum

We've had him about a year now. I've mostly extinguished his hostility towards other dogs (he's very nice with people and kids).

He now knows come, sit, go lie down, stay (mostly), gwan git, leave it, and this way.

Still working on heel and not pulling on the leash.

I totally agree about recall in the woods. We haven't worked on that yet.
