NFR AWD not for fishing

Non-fishing related

I prefer to call them strike indicators.

For years I used our '01 Outback wagon to get to some fishing spots where the Subaru's AWD was very helpful, rarely was ground clearance an issue. I have to wonder about this car's AWD system with maybe an inch of ground clearance (unless I'm missing something) - speedbump avoidance? Changes in grade? Driveways? What the heck?

Does all that "stuff" on the bottom keep the car on the ground? Just for show?

He just wanted to be lower then that old peoples Subaru across the street. ;)

Maybe they are into autocross or track days, and run what ya brung? Maybe they like the look? I can say they wouldn't get off the road into many driveways in walla walla, especially downtown, without tearing that stuff up. I got the stock 5" on my MG and there are places I can't go.

Hell…that thing isn’t safe on city streets…at least where I live.

The ancient Roman’s roads are still in better shape than what my local municipal maintains.

What do you suppose they use the roof rack for? I find that incongruous.

Other than that, I think the main idea of that car is to annoy old guys like me.

Just offering a unwanted upinion...

Drifting is the slowest way to drive fast.. anytime you lose traction you go slow..
Subaru and AWD is cool but not for the pavement. So why have a car incapable of getting off of it?
