Another useless fishing trip report

Should have worn my Oldman hat. Jake and I went out today. Met at my house and had breakfast at the Carnation Cafe.

Hit the Tolt for a while and Jake got a couple of whitefish at our first stop. I caught and released my first cigar of the day and made sure the whiskey hadn't gone bad.

Played with Jake's dog.. so cute.. I thought about trying to get him in my car.. but got caught by Jake..

Hit the Snoqualmie at a spot I like and have gone to for years. No Bueno but pretty and chatted with a gentleman who was out for a walk.

Then up to Ben Howard! Roads are slick in spots. I did a quick little slide right before the entrance to Ben Howard.

No fish and very low. I'll let the pictures speak their 1000 words each.

No.. although Jakes killer ninja dog would have intimidated them.. Herbie the love bug! Jake's corgi.. and I always ask for a hit of there shit! They don't like to share.. sucker's! NOT!

That’s good. There were 2 cars parked there the last time I was there to fish that had some shady looking folks in them and I was a little afraid to leave my car thinking it would get broken into.

Ha! I’m just learning the two hander. And I was feeling pretty good about throwing maybe two rod lengths of running line…..Sheese…this guy’s prolly got two lengths in reserve hanging below the reel !!

Only problem is snow and 2 wheel drive and headlights from 1986. Not really 2 wheel. Right rear just spins. I can do doughnuts until I puke though.
