Yeah, I love their rods, and have for a long time. Got my first one in '86, and still fish it from time to time. One of my all time favorite two handed rods was the original 1307. I bought a Contact 2 1094 last summer, and it's the most versatile rod I own. The 1092 will be one of the next I purchase, as well as both the 1163 and a 1267. So yeahTradition, or something.

From what I can see online, the Liquid is assembled in the US, and Remix says fully made in the US. They do seem to be the lowest price for US-made (or at least assembled) reels.I believe the Lamson higher end reels are made in the US . I know the Liquid ,and Remix are not . But I have both their high end ,and the Liquid ,and IMO they are great Reels . For the money you can't beat the Remix or the Liquid .
When possible, buying American-made gear not only supports our economy
I think that's what the caveat "when possible" implies. This is incorrect; sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
When companies/industries rely on "USA made" messaging to survive, it is often an indication that their business is detrimental to the economy.
This is high school level economics.

Not at my high school it wasn't! Heck, that was 400 level economics when I attended UW.This is high school level economics.

Home grown Aussie nuclear submarines coming soon as well. It's one of my pet peeves.
"Made in Australia" is a big thing, back home, and it's almost always the wrong thing to do. Drives me nuts.
Did you know there are rice farms in Australia?

China has some of the best.Where does bamboo for flyrods come from?
They both have the same spool , so I just thought both were made overseas , at least the parts . The liquid is all cast , the remix the frame is machined .From what I can see online, the Liquid is assembled in the US, and Remix says fully made in the US. Tibors not the unicorn. They say “%100 American made with the exception of the ball bearings”. I don’t think the people at tibor understand what %100 means.Tibor
They make all their pieces, including the screws. I’m sure the cork is imported…
