You’ve convinced me. It’s clearly the solution to so many of society’s ills, it’s a wonder there aren’t fleets of dudes out there whacking and stacking NPM and cashing those sweet BPA checks.

Does anyone know where Crecent bar is?
My son and I were fishing for smallies in the bay behind the trailer park.
When we started catching NPM in the two or three pound class.
I would stick a knife through the back of their head and back bone and put them back in the bay.
We caught a couple dozen each till we ran out of worms.
One hell of a good time.
Another time I was fishing for carp up by Lincoln Rock Park, but the little NPM would not leave my bugger alone as it sank and when the carp saw the minnow spit out the bugger they would not touch my bugger.
So I started hooking the little minnows, breaking their necks and tossing them back.
My wife who was running the boat said "look" and as I did I saw a large mouth bass come up and take the dead minnow.
I must have caught a 100 little minnows all between 4" and 6" that day.
Those NPM are thick between Crecent Bar and above Rocky Reach dam.

I used to tournament fish against a guy who was one of the top earners 10 years ago. He wasn’t a top level bass fisherman but he caught a lot of Pike minnow. He lived on the snake!

I would think forward facing sonar would be really helpful.
 
Perhaps its just a coincidence but for some reason every pike minnow I catch flys off with an eagle.

I am sure the turn in station guy cuts open the bellies to make sure no weights were inserted. That is how a Bass Tournament guy was caught...
