Just go with Serrano if you want more of a sure thing. Great substitute.
Agreed. It’s just not quite the same as a jalapeño sliced fresh and thin.

Been in Scotland for about a month, touring. They have some AMAZING gardens!

Toured Gordon Walled Garden yesterday... it is a produce and flower garden truly amazing, even as fall settled in.

Cool. A month? Very nice. Who’s taking care of your home garden? The deer?

I am now exhausted at mowing, line timing, pulling, and planting our garden, the deer only damaged a couple flowers.

I can tell you it was very hard to come home, the history and ancestral ties made this an awesome trip. I am a descendant of Clan MacLellan, prior to Revolutionary War. We got to tour the castle, even though closed to public, with government historical and safety guides, VERY cool. They had a piper playing to welcome us.

Anyway, during clan trip and then just my wife and I we saw many many amazing garden grounds.

Me pictures... have us some ideas for changes and improvements to our property.

I thought these were ducks that many of my hunting friends might be able to hit...

The amazing thing was that the climate and flora and fona are VERY similar. So, we had a lot of discussion with locals about there gardening.

Those are very good...

Dunno where in Wa you live? Coyote?
Seattle. I’ve seen coyotes here but I suspect a neighbor’s (damned) outdoor cat did this. It was just a tiny baby bunny. Not that there’s a bunny shortage here either.

For some stupid reason I posted this in the 2022 instead of here in 2024.
Hoping to get any info for next year if I grow them again.
Thanks
My tomatillos are really small. More like a cherry tomato if even that size. First year trying them as it was a gift from a neighbor who I trade with. How did yours do this year and what size. What do you do to get any size to them? I got lots of them but just small on the one plant.
Thanks. BTW I am in Seattle. Tomatoes are doing great tho.

... Sounds like big Bunny money talking - bunnies will make a parking lot of your garden!!! (apologies for any highjack, could not resist)

Those 'matoes look fantastic.

cheers
