It took two outfielders hard-colliding to allow the tying three runs at the top of the 8th. Top of the 9th to put the Mariners up 10 to 9 to win the last inning with good D.

I gotta believe that the crowd noise inhibited their ability to communicate as to who was going to catch it. IIRC, there was only one homer hit by the Mariners. The rest was "small ball"

I was stuck working yesterday and had to listen to the game intermittently until I got home late in the 8th to watch on tv. I am still stunned and not sure I believe it actually happened!

Just read an interesting factoid, don't know how it was determined by the baseball analytics folks. Yesterday after 6 innings the M's chance of victory stood at 0.9%. Have to think that they believe their chances against the Astros are somewhat north of that.
