My buddy and I decided to take a relaxing day in the mountains wet wading and fishing dry flies. We found plenty of willing rainbows; they were really on the chow.
On the first stream, they really liked a size 14 caddis, twitched.

On the second stream, they liked a stimmy best, of what I tried. Some large dark caddis were spotted flying about and egg-laying.
The water was a nice 57 F there.
It was a good day. Managed to work some shit out in my head a bit, too.
