As I mentioned in a thread a while back, we've stepped up to a hard sided trailer. That means it's time to let our little tent trailer go. I figured I would list it here first before posting on CL/FB.
1996 Coleman/Fleetwood Laredo tent trailer. 12ft long closed, 17ft long open, and weighs under 1000 lbs. This can be pulled with just about anything and fits in pretty much any camping spot. While Toyota might not love my doing so, I could pull it with my Prius if I wanted to. Takes maybe 10 minutes to set up? Pretty quick and easy if you have two people who know what their doing. Absolutely still easy to set up with one person. You can see the full specs in this 1996 Coleman/Fleetwood catalog right here. Does NOT have the ABS roof that had leaking problems in the 90/00's Coleman trailers. I believe I am the third owner? But I wouldn't bet my paycheck on that. Bought it from a family who's kids outgrew it and we're selling it for the same reason.
Condition is really good for its age. I'll list out the few things that need to be addressed. But overall, this could go camping tomorrow with no problem. Canvas is in fine condition, no leaks. one small patch on a pinhole area that looked thin (but wasn't actually leaking). Dinette cushions were recovered by my wife because she didn't love the original covers. I might have he original covers around here, but I might not. Interior is solid, few scrapes on the "wood". But less than you would expect for its age. Furnace and stove, worked when we got it, but I never used it during our ownership. Same deal with the water. There's a jug under the sink that you can manual pump or you can in theory hook up to a hose. No black/grey tank, just drains to the ground. But we never actually used any of these things during our ownership. We just used it like a big tent and did our cooking outside.
Exterior is in the same condition as the interior with. Just some scrapes and bumps from age. The worst of which is a small dent below the word "Laredo". Overall, the trailer has been taken care of. There is an awning that was fine last time I took it out. We never used it because I never got around to figuring out a good wind hold down setup. Oddly enough, I just learned about this hold down strap system, which would work nicely I think. One of the awning poles needs a replacement tip, but they are readily available. Currently there is no propane tank connected and no battery. Thank our local tweakers for that. I have a propane tank that I can include,but the hold-down and part of the connection hose got taken EDIT: I have these parts now. Tires are fairly new and the bearings were packed recently.
If I tidy everything up, I'll list it on CL/FB for $3200 or so (seen a few similar ones for $3-3500). But if anyone on PNWFF wants to tackle a few small fix-it projects, I'd sell for $2500. I'm located northsound up in bham.
