I have a few days Id like to fish the Williamson the end of July. I am a DIY angler but am looking for recommendations for lodging (nothin fancy is fine) and a guide for a couple of days. Are there better options? Might Yamsi be worth it if available? Thanks for any reply.

I would suggest a mild abrasive WITHOUT a beaching agent, such as "Comet" no bueno. Maybe a diluted mix of baking soda and water. I used to raft a fair amount and maintenance was paramount. I would resort to Powdering my raft before putting away at the end of the season.

Yes especially if they know of some unfished, trophy sized trout rivers.

I'll be talking to Yellowdog next week. I'm hoping to put together a more "ala cart" visit. I've read some places will provide discounts during Aug-Oct but not refundable. Cant blame them.
