I have a few days Id like to fish the Williamson the end of July.
I am a DIY angler but am looking for recommendations for lodging (nothin fancy is fine)
and a guide for a couple of days.
Are there better options?
Might Yamsi be worth it if available?

Thanks for any reply.

I’ve fished the W and the Rogue with Nate, a good guy.

Marlon is local and can probably help with lodging.

Had a decent breakfast here, hotel wasn’t finished and we were staying at Collier State Park just up the road so can’t speak to cost; gas, store were clean and modern.

Definitely a river to hire a guide for first trip(s), access difficult and fish seem to pod up. Saw some that were in mid to high ‘teens.

x2...biggest trout I have ever seen in a river. A sinktip line and 3" black leech on a 6 wt rod hooked one that absolutely schooled me. Think bull trout when gearing up

Been wanting to check that area out.....more DIY, but I know access is kinda funky. Wood River is on my list as well.
