I caught over 50 and the biggest was barely 11 inches. It sure seems like the typical fish is getting smaller over the last few years. They are delicious though, especially in the fall.

Lot's of good advice here so I'll just add "ditto". Especially on the beetles. Our cold wet week has lowered the water temps, for sure. Crane was mid-50s the other day. Really put a damper on the fires and smoke too...yippee! PS. maybe consider the following...scuds? See scud pic

Lake Crescent was clear and gorgeous but not much fish action The first evening a few fish were up on a small caddis hatch but other than that almost no surface activity Got one dink trout a on a bugger. Very much enjoyed the trip. thanks for the input!
