yeah my bad on throwing wives under the snake bus. My wife legitimately got her fear of snakes and spiders from her dad. He was a Korean War vet and ya didn’t want to mess with him. Once when they were kids, my wife and one of her brothers thought it would be funny to throw a garter snake...

My wife and I are playing around in southern New Mexico for a week. Yesterday was Carlsbad Caverns good thing these don’t fall too often…it would be like an Indiana Jones movie

Me again....and I'll start by saying I hate selling stuff....the whole bit....setting a price and then dealing with the dickering....some people love it....I'm not one of them. And then I also don't like spending a bunch of money...so I might not jump on something unless it's a screaming...

I’m pretty simple. I do five or so feet of something like 12 lb leader material a ring or a swivel and then an arms length of 8# flouro. Thought I’d be smart once and used heavier tippet between ring and fly but all I did was break everything off….ended up using a section of my rod to re-tie...
