revisiting this to see if there are any updates that people can share. I just emailed the West Seattle blog and asked them the same question. if nothing is adjusted for this weekend, I think the area is going to be a mess and short tempers will be coming out.

this is pretty cool. I'm a bit surprised they are that far into the river system as it is still July. I figured they would be staying ( hoping actually) in the salt longer with this warm weather and low flows.

not surprised either. old timers (like me!) know how to jump the curb to get to the launch. unless they install barricades to either side of the entry or exit gates. the bay opens up in 2 weeks for one weekend of fishing. its gonna be a zoo dp

for what it's worth: areas 10 and 11 are only open for those days as well for July. gonna be a tough king season. And if I'm reading the regs correctly, Area 10 Elliott Bay also opens Aug 2-5 and area 11 reopens Aug 1. as Porky Pig says: tha.... tha....that's it folks.
