You beat me to it. I’ve been doing it this way. So easy and comes out great. Just trim the ends and nuke a couple minutes or so an ear (times do vary based on microwave wattage).

That does seem like a good deal. Says “pending” now. It’s funny, on the Devlin site, I think they think “burdensome” means something different than it actually means. Unless it’s just brutally honest marketing for a wooden boat. They open with: “The Candlefish 16 is a burdensome fishing skiff.”

Sounds like a blast! I’d love to see a couple more views of this squid fly. It’s hard to tell what I’m looking at when I’ve never seen anything quite like it before I don’t think. Were the mackerel you were running into jack mackerel?

I don't have a universal rule for this. Ya gotta size things up. I frequently do say something, though. Usually a variation of, "Hey I am sure you just didn't realize it but believe it or not they actually closed the river here to all fishing again, sucks I know. I don't get why we can't fish...
