I'm not sure if I have any plans on returning any time soon. Long drive for me, camping therefore necessary, and a crowd with a couple having that "country club" attitude. If I do, I'll escalate from grungy to homeless garb attitude.

After fishing LL, I’d say your take is spot on. It would help to fish the days the clubs don’t go. For those driving a long ways, the tricky part would be scoring a campsite for those days. Instead of arriving on a Tuesday, maybe on a Sunday afternoon?
