    St Joe River Trip

I will be there fishing the NF of the Coeur D Alene 6/17 - 6/20. I will be at the Big Hank campground #7. I will be floating the river in my pontoon each day. The river is up above the average for this time of year but should be very fishable. I have been checking the river flows at Prichard...

Contact Ted, Johnny or Jim at Troutwater Fly Shop in Cle Elum. They may be able to help however, I think access is very limited.

    San Juan River, NM

Duranglers in Durango Colorado is a great option if your traveling down from the north. There are walk and wade access points but floating may be the better option during high water. Local knowledge is key as the fish can be very selective. The correct fly and the correct presentation is...

First float in the Big Eddy

I own a 2019 WF 360 model and love it. If I were looking for new, a Big Eddy would be a top contender. It a Clackacraft so you cannot go wrong. Congratulations and Enjoy. Yuki looks like he approves as well. Coach Nick would approve of your color selection as well.

    Yakima KOA launch-$20!

Not only is the KOA launch up to $20. Bristol Flats now has a lock on the gate. Word is the new developer has closed access to the launch site. Like KOA to Ringer, Bristol to the green bridge made for some nice access to sections not easily accessed otherwise.

    Adding lettering to a rod

Very easy to do. Any local rod builder should be able to do that for you. Try posting this in the "Rod Building" thread.

Evan's boat projects: The next chapter

That's awesome. So many others would have just slapped the outboard on without consideration of fluid dynamics. This is even more critical when running an outboard with a jet pump on the lower unit. looking forward to watching your build.

Evan's boat projects: The next chapter

Without a doubt a custom job to retrofit everything. You are doing an excellent job. That 225 will push you across the water quite nicely. The biggest issue will be to watch for cavitation or "the Bernoulli effect" at speed which can starve the outboard from the water it need to suction to...

    Brewing

Awesome post! I made my own home brew for years. Back in the day there were multiple home brew shops with lots of supplies. Not so much anymore. The bottom sludge aka "goat" at the bottom is excellent when used to make beer bread. Much of the yeast is actually still active.

Evan's boat projects: The next chapter

Regarding your issue with the offset. I would look at the original motor and the mounting bracket. In some cases there is an intentional offset as to where the motor bracket mounts to the transom resulting with the motor actually being centered.. This offset allows room for cables and...

    Jojo?

Jojo not knowing you, but after reading your post....You are one awesome person, wife, daughter, caretaker, chauffeur, planner, scheduler, fly fisher and that just covers the basics. It not easy but paying it back for those who have cared for us is a noble task. I am in awe and wish you a...

    4/5/22 Yakima River

Fish or no fish a day on the river is always considered way better than most other options. Great pic of the future trout slayer;)
