    Hello, What do folks do for there own shuttle from lone pine to max on the Deschutes with only one rig? Bike, hitchhike (no thanks) walk? My wife actually volunteered to ride a bike once. Bless her heart! She got back pretty fast by some anglers with a truck! Any info/thoughts is appreciated.

    I went the last week in May. I was told the creek mouths that feed into that stretch would be just opening and the fish would be unmolested. I really enjoyed the "early" season where the fish had not been fished over as much. I would do this trip again at the same time.
