Deschutes self shuttles?

Hello,
What do folks do for there own shuttle from lone pine to max on the Deschutes with only one rig?
Bike, hitchhike (no thanks) walk?
My wife actually volunteered to ride a bike once. Bless her heart!
She got back pretty fast by some anglers with a truck!
Any info/thoughts is appreciated.
