I ended up getting an ECOastal basket. Difficult to spend that much on foam but I used it today for the first time and it diffidently helped with distance and line control. I wish I could say that I caught a Salmo but no such luck

I too had a discussion with my wife about my need for a “stripping basket”. I unfortunately and mistakenly mentioned my desire for a “stripper basket”. Not good

I’m new to the area. I’ve fished a few times for Cutts and Pinks and have determined that a stripping basket would be helpful. I have never used one. Anyone have any preferences for them. I’m looking at an Ecoastal basket from Scientific Anglers. Any thoughts on these or others? Thanks, The New Guy.

Well the new guy finally went out for Pinks. I got one! They’re a lot shorter, flatter and stumpier than I thought though….

It’s coming along. I will plant much earlier next season as well as build a couple more boxes.

After moving here almost a year ago I finally got the chance to get out and fish. I went to the nearby secret beach by Greenwood and caught three. This was my biggest. I don’t think it’s a Pink, ah ….maybe it’s a Silver!
